What Is A High Temperature Conveyor Belt?

- Jul 24, 2018 -

The high temperature resistance of the high temperature conveyor belt is caused by its special material.

The high temperature resistant conveyor belt is made of multi-layer rubber cotton canvas or polyester canvas with high temperature resistant or heat resistant rubber and high temperature vulcanized. Therefore, it is mostly used in hot coke, cement, slag and hot castings below 175 °C. The application industry is metallurgy, construction and so on.

This kind of conveyor belt application requires strict environmental conditions, so its daily maintenance needs special attention. The conveyor belt should be kept clean during use and storage, avoid direct sunlight or rain and snow, and prevent acid and alkali. Oil, organic solvents and other substances are in contact with one meter away from the heating device.

The temperature should be kept between 18-40 °C and the humidity should be kept between 50-80%. It must be placed in rolls and must not be folded. It should be turned once every season during the placement. Conveyor belts of different types and sizes are not suitable for use together, and the joints are preferably glued.
