What is a guide? What is the role of the conveyor belt plus the guide strip?
The guide strip conveyor is mainly used to prevent the conveyor belt from running off or as a fixed conveyor belt for some special products, such as egg conveyor belts.
What is the guide?
As the name suggests, the guide strip is a strip that has a positioning and guiding function. Its role is to make the conveyor belt run accurately on the conveyor to prevent deviation. It can also be used as material positioning for the conveyor belt bearing surface.
The color of the bars is green (common), black and white. The materials used for manufacturing mainly include PVC, PU, PE, etc., so as to meet the quality requirements of different grades in the general industrial industry and food production packaging industry.
Common specifications for guide bars are: 6*4, 10*6, 13*8, 17*11 (units mm). The cross section is an isosceles trapezoid, and the meaning of the specification is 6*4, which means 6mm wide and 4mm thick.
Conveyor belt plus guide bar
There are two main functions of the guide bar. One is to prevent the conveyor belt from running off during operation, and the other is to use the bearing surface as a positioning.
When the guide bar is added to the contact surface of the conveyor belt, the effect is to make the conveyor belt run accurately, preventing it from running away after long-term operation, thereby protecting the long-term use of the conveyor belt.
When the guide bar is applied to the loading surface of the conveyor belt, it is mainly to prevent the material from rolling. Such conveyor belts are mainly used in some food processing, such as egg conveyor belts.
