After two times of opening, due to the frictional effect, the instantaneous frictional heating of the conveyor belt slightly increased slightly, and the third time the barely strong can also further explain the problem. Re-adjust the belt to a tight degree and start the test. At this time, the no-load current of the motor has been reduced from the original 190A to 170A, and the load is increased to 245A. After continuous running tests, everything is normal.
As can be seen from this example of the failure, the tightness of the conveyor belt can not be ignored. Make sure that the tightness is moderate during daily inspection and maintenance. Too tight a belt not only reduces the life of the belt, but also wastes energy. If the motor does not trip, its no-load current will be about 20A, which may even affect the normal operation of the equipment. Suggestion: The conveyor belt should be loosened in the winter and tightened in the summer. That is to say, according to the change of the ambient temperature, it is suitable for the season.
