Is the tooth belt and the timing belt usually the same concept?


     Both the V-belt and the timing belt belong to the transmission belt. The timing belts are toothed; the triangles are toothed and non-toothed.


     The timing belt is transmitted by the teeth; the V-belt is driven by the friction on both sides.

2. What does the synchronous belt htd-360-5m mean?


     HTD indicates the tooth profile of the timing belt, (HTD indicates the arc tooth timing belt)


     360 indicates that the length of the timing belt is 360 mm;


     5M indicates the pitch of the timing belt, that is, the pitch of the timing belt is 5 mm.

3. What kind of timing can the timing belt be divided into according to the tooth shape?


     The teeth of the timing belt have two types of trapezoidal teeth and arc teeth.


     There are three series of arc teeth: arc teeth (H series also known as HTD belt), flat top arc teeth (S series also known as STPD belt) and concave top parabolic teeth (R series).


     The trapezoidal tooth timing belt has two types of teeth on one side and two sides on both sides, which are simply referred to as single-sided belts and double-sided belts. The double-sided tape is further divided into a symmetrical tooth type (code DA) and an interdigitated tooth type (code DB) according to the arrangement of the teeth.
