Surface treatment

The worn fabric or the torn rubber is first cut off, and the damaged portion and the area at least 10 cm around it are ground and roughened with a rotating wire brush to form a wool-like surface. Then clean the entire area to be repaired with a cleaning agent.


Apply primer

The rubber adhesive is carefully applied to the surface treated area with a bristle brush as a primer to increase the adhesion.

Repair process

Making seamless joints

The trapezoidal steps are made according to the thickness of the conveyor belt, and each step overlap is preferably at an angle of 45 degrees, and the width of the overlap is generally equal to the bandwidth.

Use a wire wheel to roughen the bonding surface. The residual rubber on the canvas (or nylon cloth) must be cleaned and cleaned with a cleaning agent.

The prepared rubber adhesive is evenly coated on the bonding surface with a plate brush or a rubber knife. When the film is not sticky, the second coating is applied, and the solvent is volatilized and then coated for the third time. Finally, When the film is not sticky, the bonding is performed at the interface. After bonding, it is preferable to force the joint portion with a heavy steel plate or repeatedly roll it with a round roller several times to remove the air at the bonding point.
